Job description

Job Function:

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Your expertise in electrical work, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will ensure the reliability and functionality of our electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Complete electrical installs from start to finish, including circuits, remodels, and complex projects, including low voltage wiring.
• Comply with state and local electrical regulations and guidelines.
• Respond to calls during and after working hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability.
• Properly handle and store tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical technician-related education preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Overnight travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of electrical service experience required.
• Trade license required.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently lift up to 75 pounds.

Typical Equipment Used:

• Pliers, screwdriver, tape measure, level, hammer, pry bar, wire stripper, fish tape, drill, impact driver, conduit bender, voltage tester, saw, utility knife.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to varying temperatures.
