We are looking for a Sr Electrical Technician to join our Newmarket, Ontario team! This hands-on role focuses on providing testing and qualification services for the nuclear power industry. As an Electrical Technician, you will support engineering by performing setup, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems and components. You’ll work with a wide range of specialized equipment and environments to perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

Your Challenge

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the company Quality Program.
  • Full understanding of engineering drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Ability to follow and create work instructions.
  • Work safely with a variety of tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Time management, multi-tasking, and communicating daily.
  • Work as a team member and participate in activities to improve operations and the facility.
  • Understand the workload and work overtime as needed to support business objectives.
  • Assists other personnel as required.
  • Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

What You Bring

  • High School or equivalent required. Technologist diploma preferred.
  • 1-3 years of hands on related experience.
  • Knowledge of basic testing processes and procedures and experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • Attention to detail.
