Job summary

Gerrie Electric Wholesale Limited is seeking a Project Quotation Specialist to price and prepare bid proposals for commercial projects of varying complexity. You will interpret customer requirements and develop cost-effective solutions with timely, accurate quotes to support Gerrie’s bid strategy.

Responsibilities include collaborating with branches and vendors, calculating total costs and margins, and ensuring a complete hand-off of quotes to project teams.

Qualifications

• Technical college diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in the electrical industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical products, distribution systems, and industry practices.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and lighting layouts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pricing and proposals for bid packages to contractors for commercial projects.
• Collaborate with branches and vendors to arrive at cost-effective solutions that meet plans and specs.
• Price items for bids, determine total cost and margins, and hand over complete quotes to project teams.
• Respond to customer questions promptly and maintain professional communication.
