Job summary

David Aplin Recruiting in British Columbia seeks an experienced project manager for electrical service projects, blending tendering, estimating, scheduling, procurement and site coordination to keep critical facilities running safely and predictably.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with up to two work-from-home days per week after ramp-up, a total compensation of 70,000–90,000 CAD, a car allowance, comprehensive benefits and a bonus program, plus a steady pipeline of commercial

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician certification is required.
• FSR Class A or B credential is required.
• 2 to 2.5+ years of experience in electrical project management and/or estimating, including pricing or change orders.
• Comfortable transitioning from field work to an office-based leadership role.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with common productivity tools (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end service projects, including tendering, estimating, and change order pricing.
• Support business development by preparing scopes and competitive proposals.
• Lead contract reviews, budgeting, forecasting, billing, and cost control to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate procurement, dispatch, scheduling, and labour planning with field leadership.
• Maintain jobsite presence to ensure scope, schedule, and quality alignment.
• Drive closeout activities and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

You will take ownership from early client needs and tendering through scheduling, procurement, jobsite coordination, financials, and closeout bringing clarity, calm, and craftsmanship to every phase.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience incommercial electrical service, includingtenant improvements and retrofits
• Estimating experience usingAccubid
• Familiarity withProcore, Microsoft Teams, and service scheduling workflows
• Background as a senior project coordinator with a strong electrical foundation
