Western Integrated Electrical seeks an Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to lead industrial and commercial construction projects through completion, managing budgets, timelines, and resources while preparing cost estimates. The role may serve as PM and Estimator for select projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager and/or Estimator in industrial/commercial construction.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and industrial workflows.
• Proficiency in estimation software such as Accubid and MS Office; familiarity with PM tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of building codes/regulations; PMP/CPM/CPE certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine scope, costs, and materials.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates by gathering data from suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution phases.

• Evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Conduct field visits and site assessments to confirm conditions.

Western Integrated Electrical builds, installs, maintains, and commissions electrical systems throughout locations across the lower mainland. We complete a variety of electrical installations which can be located at YVR, hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and in many local municipal facilities. We partner with our clients across the lower mainland to solve their most pressing challenges including design build projects and custom solutions. Distribution and lighting upgrades. Conveyor and machine installations.

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our dynamic and growing team. In this position, you’ll lead industrial and commercial construction projects through completion—managing budgets, timelines, and resources—while also preparing and reviewing cost estimates. For select projects, this role may serve as both Project Manager and Estimator, overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle.

• Proficiency in estimation software - Accubid and Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CPM, or CPE are an asset but not required.
