Electrical & Piping Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical/Piping Drafter II to join our growing team. In this role, you will support engineering and production teams by preparing and modifying technical drawings, including P&IDs, machinery layouts, cable trays, piping, HVAC, and electrical wiring diagrams. You’ll play a key role in translating markups into accurate AutoCAD deliverables for industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to develop and revise 2D technical drawings.
• Conduct 2D and 3D modeling of piping systems and electrical systems.
• Create and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), machinery layouts, cable tray routing, and electrical wiring drawings.
• Experience drafting single line diagrams, schematics, etc
• Generate and modify 2D layouts
• Develop as-built documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Technologist diploma or equivalent in drafting, design, or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial environment as a drafter or designer

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
