Position:

1) Lead Drafter - full time, fully remote. This role requires someone with excellent time management and communication skills who can lead by example and ensure drafting deliverables are completed on time and to the highest standard. The Lead Drafter will report directly to the Survey Manager and work closely to drive seamless project execution and ensure the overall success of our operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and consistency across our drafting operations.

The ideal candidate must be experienced and proficient in the following:

• Have proven experience in a drafting leadership role
• Experience with network adjustments including scaling grid to ground
• Fluent in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Microsoft Office
• Excellent organization, time management, and accountability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment (must have reliable internet connection)
• Commitment to excellence and a customer-first mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a remote drafting team across multiple time zones
• Ensure accuracy and quality control on all drafting outputs
• Assign, track, and manage workloads to meet or exceed project deadlines
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external clients as needed
• Maintain organized project records and drafting documentation
• Assist with drafting several diversified projects simultaneously
• Continuously improve drafting processes and implement best practices
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior drafting staff
• Schedule manpower and drafting coverage for all projects
