We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter / Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in CAD drafting and a background in building construction or related education.

Responsibilities :

• Create detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD software
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure accurate and timely completion of shop drawing packages
• Utilize technical knowledge to identify and solve design problems
• Ensure that all drawings are completed in accordance with company standards

Qualifications :

• Completion of a technical diploma / certificate in CAD drafting
• At least 2 years of experience in CAD drafting is an asset that will be considered
• Ideal candidate is a graduate of the BCIT Architectural & Building Technology Program
• Proficient in reading architectural construction drawings
• A background in building construction or related education
• Proficient in AutoCAD software (BIM not required but an asset)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
