You will play an important role in:

You will be part of a specialized team managing the Hagersville Battery Storage Project (300 MW) outside Hagersville, Haldimand County, or the Tilbury Battery Storage Project (80 MW) in Tilbury, Essex County.

Alongside your team, you will actively participate in resource management through the completion and inspection of various works. Reporting to the Site Director, your electrical expertise will ensure the performance of installations through rigorous monitoring and documentation.

Your role and main responsibilities include:
  1. Participate in and carry out work on transmission lines, substation maintenance, and BESS units.
  2. Plan electrical corrective work.
  3. Ensure on-site interventions are aligned with production optimization.
  4. Participate in applying health and safety laws and regulations.
  5. Adhere to environmental responsibilities.
  6. Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), JSA’s, Permit to Work, and other documentation for safe maintenance and repairs.
  7. Support and guide on-site suppliers.
  8. Participate in problem solving and propose creative solutions.
  9. Complete reports and records related to maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications needed:
  • Technical degree in electrical or equivalent training.
  • 309A license is an asset.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of medium and high voltage installations.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and control (asset).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Analytical skills, tact, adaptability, and rigor.
