Job summary

Western Integrated is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial, residential, and institutional construction projects across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

The role requires a Red Seal Electrician Certification, at least five years of foreman experience, and strong ability to read blueprints, enforce safety standards, and communicate with clients.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Electrician Certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of Electrical Foreman experience in the Lower Mainland.
  • Proven ability to lead crews on commercial, residential, and institutional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical crews, ensuring safe, efficient work practices.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide on‑the‑job training to crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code, WorkSafeBC, and company policies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Order and manage materials and equipment.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to meet specifications and standards.
  • Maintain records including daily reports, time sheets, and requisitions.
  • Address safety concerns promptly and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, PMs, and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and resolve issues.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment.

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising electrical crews on a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead and supervise electrical crews, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code, WorkSafeBC), and company policies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Order and manage materials and equipment.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and material requisitions.
  • Investigate and address safety concerns promptly, ensuring a safe work environment for all crew members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems as they arise.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment.
What We Will Give You
  • $48.00 - $60.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

What We Need From You
  • Red Seal Electrician Certification (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising electrical crews on a variety of projects, including:
  • Commercial: Office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, hotels
  • Residential: New construction, renovations, custom homes
  • Institutional: Schools, hospitals, government buildings
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
