Western Integrated Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise crews across commercial, residential, and institutional projects in British Columbia. You will read blueprints, ensure codes and safety practices, and coordinate planning, scheduling, and budgeting with project teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years as an Electrical Foreman, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and with a team on diverse installations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Western Integrated Electrical builds, installs, maintains, and commissions electrical systems throughout locations across the lower mainland. We complete a variety of electrical installations which can be located at YVR, hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and in many local municipal facilities. We partner with our clients across the lower mainland to solve their most pressing challenges including design build projects and custom solutions. Distribution and lighting upgrades. Conveyor and machine installations.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team of professionals.

Location: Lower Mainland, British Columbia, Canada

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising electrical crews on a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

What you will be doing
  • Lead and supervise electrical crews, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code, WorkSafeBC), and company policies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to understand project requirements.

  • Order and manage materials and equipment.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and material requisitions.
  • Investigate and address safety concerns promptly, ensuring a safe work environment for all crew members.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems as they arise.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment.
What we will give you
  • $48.00 - $60.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

What we need from you

  • Commercial: Office buildings, retail stores, restaurants, hotels
  • Residential: New construction, renovations, custom homes
  • Institutional: Schools, hospitals, government buildings
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and drawings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
