Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate for the Buildings + Places team in Markham, Ontario. This full-time role starts in May 2027 and reports under the supervision of a Professional Engineer to develop electrical solutions for diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, knowledge of power systems and lighting calculations, and familiarity with REVIT and AutoCAD. Internship experience in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field.
• Understanding of lighting calculations.
• Proficient with REVIT and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific portions of a broader assignment under supervision.
• Apply industry practices to develop engineered solutions for electrical issues.
• Gather and correlate basic electrical engineering data for assigned projects using established procedures.
• Develop details of work and compare engineering alternatives with the supervising engineer.
• Receive supervision on new aspects of assignments.
