Job summary

AECOM in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate to join the Transportation team. This full-time, hybrid role starts in January 2027 and offers exposure to lighting, traffic signals, and project documentation.

Responsibilities include lighting and traffic signal layouts, wiring diagrams, photometric analysis, and site visits; you’ll work under supervision while completing your Electrical Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Must have completed or will complete a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Familiarity with MTO design standards.

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate for our Transportation team based in Mississauga, Ontario.

This full time role is for a newly created position expected to begin in January 2027.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of lighting and traffic signal layouts
• Preparation of wiring diagrams and electrical details
• Performs photometric analysis of lighting systems
• Preparation of contract documents and specifications
• Site visits
• Follows company and project procedures and policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Performs routine tasks while working under supervision.
• Must have completed or will be completing their Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest intraffic signals and roadway lighting
• Knowledge ofAutoCAD
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge of MTO design standards
