Job summary

AECOM Buildings + Places is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the design of building services to join our Pickering, ON team. This role focuses on electrical design for diverse projects including transit, commercial and institutional facilities.

The successful candidate will lead design efforts, supervise electrical team members, and coordinate with other disciplines to deliver high-quality, compliant engineering solutions across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Six (6) + years of relevant experience is required.
• Fifteen (15+) years of electrical design experience is preferred.
• Experience with transportation projects (asset).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical advisor for electrical design within the team.
• Coordinate electrical systems with other disciplines.
• Review and supervise electrical system designs (UPS, power, lighting).
• Develop cost estimates and support budgets.
