Reports to: Team Lead, Engineering Manager

Based at: Regional Office

Position Purpose: Assist Project Managers, contribute to technical capabilities, and support project and client needs while providing excellent customer service and coordination with project partners.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with team leaders and project managers to deliver projects on time.
2. Communicate effectively with project teams, collecting and sharing information.
3. Maintain good relationships with teammates.
4. Participate in client discussions as needed.
5. Assist in technical report writing and project documentation such as addendums, change orders, and contracts.
6. Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and recommendations for control, grounding, hazardous areas, power, safety, lighting, security, and energy systems.
7. Understand quality control processes and write basic field inspections and technical reports under supervision.
8. Adhere to company policies, safety practices, and obtain necessary security clearances for institutional projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status with the provincial association
• Working towards a P.Eng. license

Skills and Capabilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, respectful of diversity.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Professional representation of the company to clients and communities.
• Proficiency with WE systems and software such as MS Office 365, SharePoint, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and AGI 32.
• Basic knowledge of technical report writing, energy management, electrical systems, and specifications.
• Understanding of electrical calculations, multidisciplinary drawings, and work tracking processes.
