What You’ve Accomplished

You have completed a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering and are registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or hold a Professional Engineering License (P. Eng). You may also have obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 2 years and are eager to join Framatome to help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role offers the opportunity to make an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience as part of an innovative team in Kincardine, Ontario, within the Installed Base Business Unit. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing varied and challenging engineering tasks under general supervision, including planning and executing complete tasks or project segments, providing technical support for designing, analyzing, constructing, and maintaining structures, systems, and components.
  • Handling routine and non-routine engineering assignments in design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, specification preparation, and field tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with government, organizational, and customer engineering standards.
  • Building knowledge of organizational processes and customer needs.
  • Utilizing technical expertise to improve solutions supporting the product lifecycle and replacement of Framatome technologies.
  • Participating in solving technical issues identified by project management, business lines, or customer requests to enhance business opportunities.
  • Developing skills in Control Logic, Loop Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Instrument Selection, Calibration Specifications, Power Distribution, Motor Control Centers, Switchgear, High Voltage Systems, Lighting Design, Lightning Protection, Grounding, Battery and UPS sizing, and using engineering software such as ETAP.

This position requires up to 25% travel. Together, we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy for a sustainable future.
