An international design and manufacturing company that produces high voltage transmission equipment is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Structural Engineer to work on products for the electrical transmission industry.

This is a fully remote position. You can live anywhere in the United States. You must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S. The company offers excellent benefits, including a 10-20% bonus, health benefits, and a 6% 401K match.

We have similar openings for individuals with Electrical Engineering or Structural/Civil Engineering degrees and experience in Power Line Transmission projects.

• Collaborate with teams on research and development related to electrical insulation for power transmission lines and structures.
• Be knowledgeable about market practices in the design, construction, and commissioning of power transmission and distribution projects.
• Study power transmission solutions and identify business opportunities in grid projects.
• Evaluate projects for best practices, government compliance, and market standards.
• Work closely with marketing, management, and operations teams.
• Engage with suppliers, customers, finance, and sales departments.

Qualifications

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of electrical power transmission line projects up to 500 kV, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least three years of experience with power line CAD systems (PLS-CADD) and PLS POLE transmission line engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering transmission lines with line posts, braced line posts, and insulated cross-arms.
• Experience in developing innovative solutions for compact transmission lines.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have U.S. Permanent Residency.

This position requires experience in power transmission projects. A minimum of a BSEE degree is necessary. We also have a similar opening for candidates with a Structural/Civil Engineering degree and relevant experience in Power Line Transmission projects.
