Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Burnaby, BC is seeking an Electrical EIT / Project Coordinator to support maintenance activities and small electrical projects. This hands-on role offers exposure to planning, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and day-to-day project support.

You will work closely with field teams and clients, develop documentation, track schedules, and help keep projects moving safely and efficiently as you build your engineering career.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Eligible for or currently registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
• Interest in electrical systems, maintenance, and industrial projects.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating electrical maintenance activities and small projects.
• Supporting project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Mobilizing and coordinating subcontractors and contractors.
• Communicating with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Helping track project schedules, deadlines, materials, and deliverables.
• Supporting work planning and ensuring activities are completed efficiently.
• Assisting with project documentation, reports, and administrative requirements.
• Supporting cost tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and other project documentation.
• Helping identify issues and coordinating solutions with the project and field teams.
• Assisting with electrical project requirements and technical documentation.
• Providing general project and office-based support as required.
• Working closely with the electrical and operations teams to keep work moving safely and efficiently
