Job summary

DIALOG in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking an Electrical EIT/Designer to support integrated electrical systems design for a variety of building projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and designers, prepare BIM (Revit) models, reference local and national codes, and contribute across all project phases from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, 2–4 years of experience, BIM proficiency, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
2-4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess BIM expertise and who are proficient at using Revit software.
Strong collaborative, team-oriented design environment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Design lighting, power, security, fire alarm, and data systems for various buildings.
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, structural and mechanical engineers for integrated, sustainable designs.
Prepare high-quality BIM (Revit) models and engineering drawings.
Reference local and national codes to solve design problems compliantly.
Engage in all project phases from concept design through construction to completion.
