Job summary

EXP is seeking a Mechanical EIT or Designer to join our MEP team in Markham, ON. The successful applicant will contribute to design packages, floor plans, equipment room layouts and schedules under the supervision of senior mechanical engineers or project managers.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree or college degree in engineering technology, 3–4 years of experience, PEO registration as an EIT or Certified Engineering Technologist, and proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or college degree in engineering technology.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• PEO registration as EIT or Certified Engineering Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Produce design packages including schematic diagrams, floor plans, equipment room layouts and schedules.
• Prepare concept reports, meeting minutes, specifications and contract administration documents.
• Conduct site surveys for existing conditions when required.
• Carry mechanical calculations for systems.
• Attend site meetings with a senior staff member.
