Kent is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Specialist to support the Kearl In-Pit Tailings Area Project in Fort McKay, AB. You will plan, lead, and execute day-to-day electrical commissioning with technicians, vendor reps, and contractors to meet safety and project requirements.

Kent is looking for an Electrical Commissioning Specialist to support the Kearl In-Pit Tailings Area Project. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading day-to-day electrical commissioning activities in the field, managing teams of technicians, vendor representatives, and contractors to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. The Electrical Commissioning Specialist works closely with the Systems Completion Lead, construction teams, project leadership, and Operations to drive system commissioning, resolve technical and execution issues, and support the successful turnover of systems to Operations.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee’s skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization.
