Job summary

Kent is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering execution for multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM projects in Calgary, Alberta. You will oversee planning, coordination, quality, and integration across disciplines, while aligning with client requirements and industry standards.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering, a P.Eng. designation, and demonstrated leadership of large teams on complex projects. Relocation is not required, and travel is as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification is required.
15+ years of engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on EPC/EPCM projects.

About the Job

Kent is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineering Manager (PEM) to lead engineering execution for multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM projects. The successful candidate will oversee engineering planning, technical coordination, engineering quality, discipline integration, resource management, and engineering delivery while ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards. The Senior Project Engineering Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Discipline Leads, Construction, Procurement, and Project Controls to successfully deliver engineering services throughout the project lifecycle.

Support Project Managers with planning and forecasting.
Participate in project reviews.
Support procurement and construction activities.
Resolve technical issues.

Quality

Ensure engineering quality requirements are achieved.
Support audits and lessons learned.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad‑hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization.
