Job summary

The Narmco Group in Ontario, Canada is seeking skilled electrical apprentices to join a team focused on safe and efficient production support. The role covers installing wiring, fixture installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment within a metal stamping environment.

Candidates should be comfortable reading schematics and working with hand and power tools while complying with ESA safety rules. Wage is open to apprentice levels, with range based on hours and education.

Qualifications

• No experience required, open to all levels of electrical apprenticeships, preference for industrial setting (metal stamping).
• Able to take direction from maintenance and management and work autonomously.
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• EMT and wiring methods experience required.

Responsibilities

• Fall protection, scissor lift, safety training, working at heights (Government approved).
• Install electrical wiring, conduit/cable equipment, apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation of production equipment.
• Reads and understands schematics, electrical drawings and specifications.
• Must have necessary tools to accomplish work set forth.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
• Complies with all safety and ESA rules and regulations. Leads and educates fellow employees in safe work ethics, practices and behaviors.
• Support the safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

• Install electrical wiring, conduit/cable equipment, apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools
• Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation of production equipment.

Required/Recommended Knowledge and Skills:

• Wage starting at $21 – $30, increasing with hours and education taken.
• We are open to taking an apprentice in any level (0-8000 hrs) Level 1-4 etc.
