Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Toronto, Ontario seeks a Managing Consultant, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Auditor (Casual) to support client projects. You will lead EHS audits, advise on governance, and help clients improve safety and sustainability performance across industries.

The role offers an as‑needed casual employment contract with travel to client sites. Strong communication, leadership, and audit experience are essential, with bilingual ability and ISO lead-auditor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, sustainability, health & safety, engineering, or related discipline required.
• 4+ years of EHS experience in consulting or industry, with Canada/international exposure preferred.
• Lead auditor trained in ISO-based standards and related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits for EHS compliance, management systems, and sustainability frameworks, solo or in a team.
• Develop strategies, processes, and tools to strengthen client EHS programs.
• Support ERM's Safe and Sustainable Operations team in meeting international mining standards.
• Manage national and global projects, ensuring safety and excellence.
• Deliver training, in-field coaching, and compelling presentations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business.
