Responsibilities

Under minimal direction, the Analyst will be responsible for designing, building, testing, training, and supporting the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The Analyst requires little supervision and exercises independent judgment in support activities. The role involves complex design and analysis related to hospital operations and mentorship to team members.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Nursing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certification in Epic applications (e.g., Epic Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient, Epic Revenue Cycle). Certifications must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Two (2) years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Epic EHR applications.
• Proficiency in system configuration, customization, and optimization within Epic.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and IT applications in healthcare.
• Strong computer skills including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Technical expertise demonstrated through analysis, process design, workflow, research, installation, and support of EHR systems.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
• Customer service orientation with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and take calls as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior experience in EMR implementations/support.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401K, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and more. The estimated annual compensation range for this role in California is $68,640 to $124,800, based on skills, experience, education, and credentials. Exact starting salary will be determined at hire.
