Position Overview

Calian is seeking an Intermediate Integrated Logistics Support Specialist to assist our client with the facilitation of their project.

Responsibilities

1. Provide equipment asset control and configuration management support for the fielding team.
2. Conduct supply transactions through Defense Supply Chain (DSC) in support of LCSS kitting and de-kitting activities.
3. Pack equipment for shipment back to the DSC or for shipping to other DND sites as required.
4. Coordinate shipping of equipment as required.
5. Conduct receipt and issue activities of equipment as per vehicle Bill of Material (BOM) / checklists.
6. Assist with vehicle inspections and SATs.
7. Track and keep records of local acquisition of material to support fielding activities and provide them to the TA.
8. Perform other ILS related tasks as required by the TA.
9. Complete all tasks in accordance with the Director Material Management and Distribution (DMMD) policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a secondary school graduate diploma / certificate.
• Valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate.
• Valid Standard First aid Certificate.
• Minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience in Logistic Support related to equipment management.
• Bilingual in English and French.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level.
• Ability to obtain a valid Controlled Goods certification.
• Willingness to travel inside and outside Canada for extended periods (3-4 weeks).
