Intermediate Integrated Logistics Support Specialist

Calian is seeking an Intermediate Integrated Logistics Support Specialist to assist our client with project facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment asset control and configuration management support for the fielding team.
• Conduct supply transactions through Defense Supply Chain (DSC) supporting LCSS kitting and de-kitting activities.
• Packing of equipment for shipment back to DSC or other DND sites as required.
• Coordinate shipping of equipment as needed.
• Conduct receipt and issue activities of equipment per vehicle Bill of Material (BOM)/checklists.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and SATs.
• Track and record local material acquisition to support fielding activities and provide records to the TA.
• Perform other ILS related tasks as required by the TA.
• Complete all tasks following the policies and procedures of the Director Material Management and Distribution (DMMD).

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma/certificate or higher.
• Valid Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate.
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate.
• Minimum 24 months of demonstrated experience in Logistic Support related to equipment management.
• Bilingual in English and French.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret level.
• Ability to obtain a valid Controlled Goods certification.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Canada for extended periods (3-4 weeks).
