Job description

Our client in Regina is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled Sustainability Analyst. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving our company's sustainability policies, positively impacting the environment and society.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of sustainability, considering ecological, societal, and financial factors.
  2. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the company's eco-friendly reputation and promote sustainability.
  3. Monitor and analyze key sustainability metrics to report on progress toward sustainability goals.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for resource efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable energy adoption.
  5. Research current sustainability regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends.
  6. Support the development and delivery of sustainability training programs for staff.
  7. Engage stakeholders to promote environmentally responsible behaviors and enhance the company's image.
  8. Participate in sustainability audits, certifications, and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  2. Experience in sustainability assessment, reporting, or similar roles.
  3. Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, frameworks, and applications.
  4. Excellent data analysis and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  5. Problem-solving abilities to identify and implement improvements.
  6. Effective communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  7. Knowledge of sustainability standards such as GRI, SASB, and CDP.
  8. Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
