The Information Technology Services (IT Services) department is looking for an experienced IT professional to take a leading role in developing critical data pipelines and dashboards to drive data-driven decision making throughout the university. The Junior Data Analyst will work with our experienced team of data professionals to define, develop, implement and support our critical data platform services. The Junior Data Analyst cleans, defines and transforms data into meaningful models and visualizations to serve as the life blood of our organization. The Junior Data Analyst is a team player; coordinating with internal and external technical subject matter experts to transform requirements into key data capabilities for enterprise data and analytics. The Junior Data Analyst is a detailed oriented person who easily adapts to change and is excited to build new capabilities with leading edge technologies.
This position contributes to building critical data infrastructure, including databases, data pipelines, and dashboards. This position builds database queries to generate relevant information, and interpret and communicate results. This position develops and maintains periodic and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and visualizations. This position also interprets data needs, and determines which data sources to use.
