About the Opportunity

Our Edmonton office is looking to add an enthusiastic full-time Project Administrator to our team to complement our Branch and provide support to our team of professionals. Coupled with the diverse learning and project experience opportunities, do you see yourself excited to contribute to:

  • Project Administrative Support – Assist the Project Leaders throughout all project phases, including project openings, accounts receivable and tracking, client communications, and drafting invoices. Provide support to project teams, including pulling reports, drafting documents, issuing standard letters, organizing records and documentation for review, coordinating formal document preparation, and other administrative details as needed.
  • Branch Support – Provide monthly account receivable statements, accounts payable invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, and communication with clients regarding invoicing concerns and recoveries. Work collaboratively to support our business' continued growth and evolution. Provide additional support to our resource team and Branch Stewardship Team as needed.
  • General Office Administration Support – Additional duties as needed.

About You

Our ideal candidate is a proactive and energetic self-starter who is committed to providing outstanding service both to our internal team and to Urban Systems' clients, with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a professional office environment. A degree or certificate from a relevant post-secondary program in or related to Administration is considered an asset but not required to be successful in this role.

  • Financial Aptitude – Numbers don't scare you. You have basic knowledge of financial administration. You are comfortable working with spreadsheets and learning new software to run reports.
  • MS Office – Excel is your thing. You are proficient and experienced with all Microsoft Suite programs. Previous experience using Vantage Point and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset but not required.
