Project Accountant - Aviation (Permanent)

Location: Ottawa, ON; Victoria, BC; Vancouver, BC; or Winnipeg, MB

Expected Salary: $65,514 to $98,271

In this role, you will:

• Support project initiation, execution, and closeout processes
• Provide project cost reporting and monitoring across multiple locations
• Assist with customer reporting and ERP queries
• Contribute to Contract Status Review (CSR) and maintain technical accounting documents (IFRS15)
• Support financial achievements, accruals, and audits
• Manage invoices, support invoicing processes, and perform reconciliations
• Assist with forecasting and reporting structures
• Lead or support process improvement initiatives and tendering activities

The ideal candidate brings:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance; CPA is an asset
• Fluency in English and French
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project accounting or finance
• Experience in price modeling, cost control, and project management
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems (experience with IFS is an asset)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearances
