Playbook Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Surrey, BC , involving regular outside sales / client visits . We require at least 1 year of Logistics / Transport sales or business development experience and someone eager to grow within a collaborative, energetic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop new business opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong selling and influencing skills — and assist others in doing the same

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years' experience in Logistics / Transport sales
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling, in-person client visits, and relationship building
  • Organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, with solid problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); CRM experience is a plus
  • Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced setting
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for client visits

Compensation and Benefits

  • 60,000 – $80,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Monthly commission / bonus structure
