Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct all information security tasks within the area of responsibility to meet global and local security goals.
• Support security incidents at the location, aligning with the incident management process.
• Collaborate with the Procurement and Legal departments to review and screen suppliers.
• Lead IT and security audits.
• Promote security awareness through global training programs and local training opportunities.
• Advise management during RFP processes and new IT projects that require Information Security risk input, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT Security within large organizations.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and security best practices.
• Basic knowledge of Canadian privacy laws.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and ISO 27001 standards.
