Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct all information security tasks within the area of responsibility to meet global and local security goals.
- Support security incidents at the location, aligning with the incident management process.
- Collaborate with the Procurement and Legal departments to review and screen suppliers.
- Lead IT and security audits.
- Promote security awareness through global training programs and local training opportunities.
- Advise management during RFP processes and new IT projects that require Information Security risk input, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT Security within large organizations.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of Canadian privacy laws.
