Qualifications

• Educational Assistant certification or relevant experience.
• Ability to work with students one-on-one and in classroom settings.
• Experience or ability to work with young children.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Positive and flexible attitude toward change.
• Interview will be required; respect for diverse cultures and perspectives.
• Demonstrates commitment to truth and reconciliation; supports diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a student's educational program.
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced, student-centered environment.
• Meet health and hygiene needs of children as required.
• Provide individual support in speech, motor, language development, and social skills.
• Contribute to development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plans.
• May involve lifts and transfers.
• Other duties as assigned.
