Job summary

The Saskatoon Sexual Assault & Information Centre Inc. is seeking a compassionate Program Assistant to support the Education & Outreach team.

The role focuses on delivering education programs such as Im the Boss of Me and No is a Full Sentence, Child Sexual Abuse Education and Prevention initiatives. Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Social Work, psychology or a related field, with 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• Post-secondary study in progress is acceptable.
• Experience in education, outreach or non-profit settings is ideal.
• Ability to engage diverse communities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering Im the Boss of Me and No is a Full Sentence, education programs.
• Collect data and prepare reports on program activities.
• Support delivery of Survivors of Sexualized Violence training and online workshops.
• Coordinate pamphlet and resource distribution at events and fairs.
• Contribute to SSAIC Sexualized Violence Awareness Month/Week planning.
• Ensure SSAIC policies and applicable laws are followed.
