Job summary

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is seeking an Education Assistant to support Division schools and EAL programming. The successful candidate will work 28.0 hours per week from September 18, 2026 to October 30, 2026, under the supervision of the EAL Coordinator and in collaboration with teachers and principals.

The role requires experience with English language learners, strong communication, and a commitment to student confidentiality within a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Education Assistant Certificate or Diploma required or equivalent.
• Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate or Diploma considered.
• Brain Story Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support programming for students learning English as an additional language.
• Assist students with diverse needs in a collaborative classroom setting.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in team-based planning.
• Support students with complex sensory needs and augmentative communication.
• Engage in activities that advance individual educational goals.
