Education Assistants

School District No. 53 (Okanagan Similkameen) is seeking education assistants at various school sites to join our team. Our education assistants provide students with social, emotional, academic, behavioural, and/or personal care support.

Pay is $28.29 - $30.83 per hour, and regular positions include a competitive benefit package.

Successful candidates must have:

1. Grade 12 graduation
2. An approved certified education assistant certificate or equivalent (such as ECE certificate or first-year post-secondary education with courses in human behaviour)
3. Four months of recent experience working with children in a structured program or classroom setting
