Located in Rocky View County, Alberta (106 High Plains Bay, T4A 3N4), Alberta Central Kitchen has an opening for a BUYER. This is an exciting opportunity that combines the retail grocery sector with an enhanced culinary experience. The successful candidate will require exceptional leadership skills and a relentless drive to implement best practices to achieve an excellent customer experience.

What You Have To Offer

1. 4-year business degree or related field and/or 5 years of related experience in a food manufacturing environment, food service, restaurants, hotel management, retail, or production operations.
2. Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
3. Experience in production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and cost analysis.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and production planning software.
5. Resourcefulness and critical thinking skills.
6. Strong knowledge of accounting software.
7. Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, HACCP, BRC, Federal Regulations, and GMPs.
8. Ability to analyze cost performance data to improve operations and reduce costs.
9. Comfort with giving and receiving open feedback.
