Wage: $15.00 - $15.50/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time/on-call receptionist to greet customers as they enter the showroom, as well as answer phone calls. This person will also be responsible for some daily office tasks beyond the phone switchboard tasks. We are looking for someone who can be flexible with their schedule and willing to work occasional Saturdays. Training on-site will take place upon start.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and direct consumers to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
  • Operate switchboard telephone system.
  • Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold.
  • Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed.
  • Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
  • Familiarize yourself with department structures and internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Hours will vary depending on company needs.
