Assistant Brand Manager

The Assistant Brand Manager supports brand and digital projects across various categories and brands with a broad range of work to develop, establish and implement plans to win with consumers and customers.

Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a permanent position based out of our Mississauga location.

What you will do:

  • Accountable to deliver in market success of various brands, leading projects to enable their continuity and business performance including artwork development, forecasting and compliance projects, and working with sales to maintain/opportunistically grow distribution. Connects with regional/global counterparts to understand brand plans and recommend ideas that can be fit with the Canadian business
  • Collaborates with local Canadian brand team to support priority brands, leading projects to support divisional success by producing selective consumer communications and executions in line with brand strategy. Conducts analysis to move the business forward. Flows to work that matters.
  • Leads various work to support digital ecosystem of Bayer Consumer Health in Canada with key focus areas around websites and ensuring compliance through social media channels:
  • Leads website management for Bayer brands including content creation, updating pages for new products/campaigns. Plan and prioritize website improvements in collaboration with internal stakeholders, then execute with a combination of hands-on CMS work and coding with external developers.
  • Drives digital compliance of Bayer platforms with policies and regulatory.
  • With design agency, develops digital packshots and images required for use on website pages
  • Liaise between Monitoring agency, BMs, PV and Med Info to ensure proper monitoring and moderation of platforms and digital executions

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years CPG/FMCG/OTC industry, digital or advertising agency experience including
  • 1+ years working with digital platforms

Skills and competencies should include the following:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can lead multiple priorities at once with focus on prioritization
  • Ability to build relationships with agencies, brand and media teams
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including strong aptitude for data analytics
  • Knowledge of and experience in digital and social media landscape
