Assistant Brand Manager

The Assistant Brand Manager supports brand and digital projects across various categories and brands, with a broad range of work to develop, establish, and implement plans to win with consumers and customers.

Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment. This is a permanent position based out of our Mississauga location.

What you will do:

  1. Deliver in-market success of various brands by leading projects that enable their continuity and business performance, including artwork development, forecasting, compliance projects, and working with sales to maintain or grow distribution. Connect with regional/global counterparts to understand brand plans and recommend ideas suitable for the Canadian market.
  2. Support local Canadian brand teams by leading projects that support divisional success, producing consumer communications and executions aligned with brand strategy. Conduct analysis to advance the business.
  3. Support Bayer Consumer Health's digital ecosystem in Canada, focusing on website management and social media compliance:
  4. Manage Bayer brand websites, including content creation, updates for new products and campaigns, and prioritizing website improvements in collaboration with stakeholders, executing through CMS and external developers.
  5. Ensure digital compliance of Bayer platforms with policies and regulations.
  6. Coordinate with design agencies to develop digital packshots and images for website use.
  7. Liaise with monitoring agencies, brand managers, PV, and Medical Information to ensure proper platform monitoring and moderation.

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years of experience in CPG/FMCG/OTC industry, digital, or advertising agencies.
  • At least 1 year working with digital platforms.

Skills and competencies include:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with effective prioritization.
  • Relationship-building skills with agencies, brand, and media teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data analytics.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media landscapes.
