Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Strategist to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads. The ideal candidate will develop high-performing strategies, analyze data for performance improvements, and collaborate closely with creative and client teams to meet KPIs. This role is suited for someone who excels in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and has deep expertise in Google Ads.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive advertising strategies through market research, target audience analysis, and competitor analysis.
- Set targets aiming for at least 25% month-over-month scale growth.
- Innovate through creative testing, utilizing resources like videos, images, advertorials, VSLs, and copywriting.
- Foster innovation by adopting AI-powered solutions, exploring new ad formats, and testing advertorials and VSLs.
- Create niche-specific playbooks (e.g., health, fashion, SaaS).
- Implement and monitor new processes across the team.
- Participate in client calls to discuss innovation, scaling, and business development.
- Support team members with account-related questions and issues.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical and interpersonal skills.
- Set and monitor monthly goals with clients to ensure targets are met.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous optimization.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Advocate for broader business recommendations beyond Google Ads, including Facebook and other platforms.
Requirements
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
- Advanced certifications in Google Ads, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, or attribution tools are highly valued.
- 6+ years of experience managing performance marketing campaigns, with at least 3 years in senior roles, preferably in an agency.
- Proven track record managing six to seven-figure monthly ad budgets with measurable ROI.
- Leadership experience in managing and mentoring teams.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, Shopify, and attribution tools.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, project management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategies.
- Deep understanding of marketing funnels, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience with omnichannel marketing strategies and emerging ad formats.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects efficiently.
