Job summary

Job description

This position has a term length of one year plus one day, with the possibility of renewal.

Location - This position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work (in Edmonton) based on work preferences. Preference for schedule will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Reporting to the Senior Lead, Monitoring Science and Innovation depending on assignment, the Ecological Field Coordinator leads field crews delivering biodiversity monitoring and restoration monitoring activities across Alberta. The position is responsible for coordinating daily field operations, supervising seasonal field staff, implementing monitoring protocols, maintaining field equipment, and ensuring field activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.

The position works closely with technical staff, scientists, landowners, contractors, and government partners to support successful field program delivery.
