North Bay Regional Health Centre's Cardiorespiratory Services department seeks a qualified clinician. The role requires RN/RPN/RT or CST certification, with recent ECG/physiological testing experience and BCLS certification.

Hospital experience is preferred, and bilingual English/French ability is required with a formal French test if needed. Applicants must be highly organized, able to work with minimal supervision, and a strong team player.

Qualifications

• Registered nurses, registered practical nurses, respiratory therapists or CST certified required.
• Recent ECGs, exercise stress tests and Holter monitoring experience within 2–3 years.
• Previous hospital setting experience is an asset.
• EEG certification is an asset.
• Current BCLS required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

• Registered nurse, registered practical nurse, respiratory therapist or certified with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists is required
• Recent experience (within 2-3 years) performing Electrocardiogram's (ECG’s), exercise stress tests and Holter Monitor applications and scanning required
• Previous experience in a hospital setting is an asset
• Certified to perform Electroencephalogram's (EEG’s) is an asset
• Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) required

• Must be highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be a good team player in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Basic computer skills required (Meditech, Outlook)
• Good attendance and work record required
• Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
• Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
• Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required. All unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the identified French requirement has been met or there are no successful bilingual candidates. A formal French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level.
