Job summary

North Bay Regional Health Centre invites applications for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within Diagnostics Imaging - Echo Ultrasound. The role requires registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (DMS), proficiency in adult, paediatric, and neonatal ultrasound, and the ability to perform diagnostic cardiac studies independently.

BLS-HCP certification and bilingual English/French ability are valued.

Qualifications

Department: Diagnostic Imaging - Echo Ultrasound

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

• Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, registered as Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) is required
• Required to perform adult and paediatric scanning including neonates
• Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures using independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
• Paediatric Certification is an asset
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (BLS-HCP) Certificate
• Experience in all aspects of general ultrasound required

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required
