North Bay Regional Health Centre in North Bay, Ontario, seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for Echo/Ultrasound in Diagnostic Imaging. Must be registered with CMRTO as DMS and able to scan adults, paediatrics, and neonates with independent cardiac assessment.

Candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, work well in a fast-paced environment, and uphold patient-centered care with a culture of safety, including bilingual English/French proficiency testing if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario as Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS).
• Experience performing adult and paediatric ultrasound including neonatal scans.
• Ability to perform diagnostic cardiac sonography with independent judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certification/Experience/Knowledge:

• Member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario, registered as Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) is required
• Required to perform adult and paediatric scanning including neonates
• Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures using independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
• Paediatric Certification is an asset
• Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (BLS-HCP) Certificate
• Experience in all aspects of general ultrasound required

• Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required.
