Job description

The Township seeks a dependable and motivated individual with knowledge of operating heavy equipment and road maintenance. This position may require working a variety of shifts including days, evenings & weekends.

Reporting to the Public Works Manager, the Equipment Operator is required to have a current DZ license for this position. Duties include but are not limited to operating heavy equipment including snowplows, graders, and backhoes; repairs / maintenance of equipment, maintaining & cleaning the garages, tools and storerooms, maintaining an incident report register, performing road maintenance and general labour duties.
