Are you a driven sales professional ready to make a real impact? Shift Energy Group is hiring a Solar Sales Consultant to join our national sales team in New Brunswick. This role is ideal for an experienced sales consultant who enjoys working with warm leads, takes initiative to close deals, and thrives in a mid-length sales cycle environment. We seek someone proactive, resilient, and motivated by building meaningful client relationships.

We are a leader in designing and building solar and energy storage projects across Canada, working on residential, commercial, off-grid, and on-grid projects with tailored solutions.

Headquartered in Victoria, BC, we operate in five provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Our mission is to deliver sustainable energy solutions that foster positive change and industry advancement.

About the Role

As an Inside Solar Sales Consultant, your focus will be on educating clients, building relationships, and closing sales. You will work with warm leads generated by our marketing team, primarily leading the Kelowna market, and managing your own pipeline, follow-ups, and guiding clients from inquiry to agreement.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Schedule consultations from internal leads
  2. Engage outbound via email and phone
  3. Work independently within your market
  4. Use persuasive skills to close sales virtually and in person
  5. Participate in sales meetings and contribute to strategies
  6. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  7. Utilize online tools and software for processing information
  8. Stay updated on market trends and product knowledge
  9. Report directly to the Sales Manager
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–3 years of sales or commission-based experience, preferably in B2C and renewable resources
  • Experience with mid-to-long sales cycles, patience, and persistence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and independent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean record
Working Conditions
  • Travel within the region, visiting client sites and sales locations
  • Participation in trade shows and community events
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
