Job description

As a fire alarm system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek professionals licensed in Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspection. Your duties include inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to ensure they meet NFPA standards, repairing malfunctioning systems, and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We look for dependable, self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Technical Skills : Schedule and conduct tests and inspections on fire alarm and sprinkler systems, coordinate with fire departments, repair systems or inform the Service Department of issues, and communicate inspection results effectively.
  • Work Schedule : Full-time position, 40+ hours weekly, with responsibilities to meet service calls efficiently, respond to emergencies, and use maps for scheduling.
  • Customer Service : Handle incoming calls, document service calls thoroughly, and perform other duties as needed.

Job Qualifications & Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Apple iPad and basic technical skills.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m., with flexibility.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use an 8-ft ladder, and handle pressure and deadlines.
  • Electrical / low voltage certification or construction background is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Travel : 100%, remote work environment.
