Join to apply for the Junior Quality Assurance Inspector role at GHD.

This position involves completing inspections on Highway, Road, Bridge, Sewer, and Watermain construction projects in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). As part of our Construction Phase Services group, you will work with a team to ensure project standards and safety protocols are met.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Working safely and in conformance with GHD’s Behaviour-Based Safety culture;
• Completing daily inspections in accordance with client terms and manuals;
• Collaborating with Senior Inspectors and team members on payment recommendations;
• Maintaining accurate project records and diaries;
• Monitoring contractor compliance with specifications;
• Reporting non-conformances to supervisors;
• Working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed;
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills, Competencies & Qualifications:

• Completion of Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma, or Civil Engineering degree;
• Experience in construction field work is a plus;
• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license;
• Team player with good communication skills.
